In celebration of International Day of the Girl Child on Oct 11, please join us for the screening of the movie "Spirits' Homecoming" on 'Comfort Women', military sex slaves during World War II. It will be shown in three different universities around Washington DC, three days in a row. After each screening, there will be a the talk with the director, Cho Junglae. His film tells the story of 14-year old Jung-min and 16-year old Young-hee, who were kidnapped, sent to the Japanese military station, and forced to work as sex slaves ('Comfort Women.') Director Cho will also talk about how 75,200 people donated to create the movie over the course of 14 years. He will also talk about the current situation that the surviving "comfort women" face.
